SUMMER CHOIR rehearsal is Thursday, July 29; and Thursday, August 19 at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary.

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK our church family for all of the prayers, cards, calls and concerns over the early arrival of our grandson, Asher V. Romig. Asher is doing remarkably well and is presently on a "Feed and Grow" plan, which means he is putting on weight daily. Please continue to keep him and his parents, Nick & Kendall, in your prayers; hopefully he will be able to come home within 5 weeks!
--Rick & Mary Jane

EARLY SERVICE NOTE. On Sunday, August 15, Pastor Ernie will be out of the pulpit. There will be no formal informal early service on that date. As in the past, many have felt called to attend as a group and enjoy that fellowship time together. Blessings to you...whatever you choose! --Pastor Ernie

HIGHLAND ARTS UNLIMITED, INC. is sponsoring a FREE concert with the Potomac Concert Band on Tuesday evening, August 17, beginning at 6:30 PM on the patio of the Church-McKee Arts Center. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy an evening of band music performed by this group of talented musicians from Cumberland, Oakland, Frostburg, Keyser and surrounding area. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the auditorium.

CHANCEL CHOIR rehearsals will begin on Thursday, August 19, at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary.

FOOD PANTRY. The need is great. Please remember the hungry.

HELPING HANDS. Our final work team was in the Heritage House this past week. We appreciate their work in the community.

HAITI. It is time to start thinking about our children of the mountains in Haiti. School will begin shortly.

HAITI MILK FUND! Have you heard coins rattle in the offering plate? That is a good thing. Every coin that is dropped in the collection plate (other than 4 cents-a-meal Sunday) is sent to buy milk for children in Haiti. 5 cents will buy a cup of milk. Can you spare 5 cents?
